PAINT PRIMER TIPS...............

To start your own painting: A) Wash all surfaces you are going to paint. Please use water only.

B) Fill any holes and cracks in walls where necessary.

C) Sand your patch work.

D) Primer your sanded patch work.

E) Texture your sanded work to match the existing wall textures. Small texture cans can be bought at your local homedepot store.

F) Choose your paint colors. Then buy one or two shades lighter then you picked.

G).Use a latex flat finish on all your walls and ceilings. But use a semi-gloss finish on all baths/kitchen and wood trim.

H) Buy the best quality paints available. It will make your job easier. The better paints cover nicer and easier.

I) If you choose different colors for each room, then use the same color for all the doors and wood trim throughout your home, so it looks uniform.

J) When you start painting, roll the walls first then cut in the rest.
